Download the savf to your PC and unzip it 2. FTP it to a savf on your iSeries 3. Restore the library PEXTAFW from it 4. Run CALL PEXTAFW/PXINSTALL - installs the following libraries: - PEXTBIN powerEXT Binary Library - PEXTCD2 powerEXT Core - CGIDEV2 Version (IBM) - PEXTCGI powerEXT CGI Library : powerEXT AFW - PEXTDTA powerEXT DB2 Database: Empty - PEXTDTASTD powerEXT DB2 Database: powerEXT AFW - PEXTLIB powerEXT PGM Library : powerEXT AFW - PEXTQUE powerEXT QUE Library : Batch Wait - converts all source files to your jobs CCSID and recompiles all programs to current i5/OS version. - Creates the following directories: - /pextWebSTD powerEXT Apache server incl. Ext JS 3.1.1 - /powerEXT powerEXT Templates - /powerEXT/apache Basic Apache Server (for creating new instanses) - /powerEXT/STD powerEXT AFW - Creates the Apache server pextWebSTD in QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC Before the start of the powerEXT main Apache serverdocument /pextWebSTD/conf/httpd.conf must be changed: - ServerUserId QTMHHTP1 change to a OS/i user that has *ALLOBJ - Listen 1502 change if another port should be used Start the server: STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(PEXTWEBSTD) http://yourip:1502 UserID "Admin" Password "admin" IMPORTANT !!!! DO NOT use the STD server or any of the delivered libraries for development or test - any reinstallation will replace the delivered libraries.
